I got these AplysiaTech ring magnets to use on a project where I needed magnets with a hole I could screw through into a wall and hang metal items from.I was worried they wouldn’t be strong enough. Wow! They’re twice what I need and better than I predicted.They are really nice magnets and feel I got a good deal at just over $1 a magnet👍🏼
This set of six AplysiaTech Rare Earth Magnets is powerful, and the magnets are extremely difficult to slide apart if two connect without a spacer between them. I needed a plastic wedge and mallet to pry two magnets apart (after accidentally positioning them unsecured within 4 inches of each other), a process I never had to resort to with any other neodymium magnets. They come with double plastic spacers between each magnet in a plastic case. They also come with nine stainless steel 3/4 inch #8 wood screws in the package. The nickel finish on each magnet is excellent.

I like these magnets because I can screw. them into wood or drywall and use them to support fabric tapestries without needing to put holes in the tapestries or use push pins.Good deal, much easier to use and remove what I'm holding up with these.

Very strong magnets. Try not to connect any together without securing them to your project first or they’re hard to separate. These work really well for mounting bodies to RC cars. I needed a magnet that where a screw could be used to secure it in place as chemical bonds (ie super glue) don’t work well with strong magnets. These were exactly what I needed.

I have found that for any magnet of the size these magnets are very strong. The donut shape is a specific benefit so that you can apply them with a screw in the middle so you can hang metal objects virtually anywhere. They’re easy to install with just a drill and screwdriver and they have a really good hold.
These are super strong little magnets. Hard to get them apart to use them. Having the hole in the middle is handy to secure them instead of depending on glue alone.
… and I have used many. I got these to use in a project made of plywood panels that can be assembled and broken down quickly. The panels are held together with these powerful magnets, allowing the panels to self-align automatically while also allowing them to be taken apart easily for storage. These magnets are definitely stronger than the last batch I used for a similar project. They also have a countersunk hole in the center for easy mounting, so I don’t have to epoxy them in. These may be too powerful for your application, so choose wisely. Otherwise, highly recommended.
Mountable to a non-metallic wall with a screw, or on a metal wall or door just with magnetic force. These magnets are VERY strong. They come with plastic spacers between them because it's VERY difficult to separate two of these magnets when they're stuck directly together. Be careful handling these near each other because they will easily snap together and can pinch fingertips (and draw blood). Heed the pinch warning on the label!
These work great - it always surprises me how strong these little magnets are.They came looking great and were all accounted for. I have no complaint with them.
These little guys pack quite the punch. Perfect for mounting some pegboard to a metal wall.
I'm reviewing aplysiatech 3/8" 50 pack of a magnets, which at the time of this review were $22. I primarily got these to assist with building a pet door, but they might actually be TOO strong for that. Don't let the size fool you, these magnets have some serious strength, significantly stronger than a slightly smaller version I got from another brand. The screw hole with countersink will be very helpful for making recessed magnetic connections for various projects. The price is pretty good, too.
Strong magnets. What I like best is the ability to mount them with a screw. Just take caution not to over tighten. They will break. Magnets are very brittle.
I was a little leery getting these because they don't specify the countersink geometry, but they appear to be correct for a standard/imperial #4 screw. I've bought generic countersunk disc magnets before that did not have the correct countersink geometry (82° for standard/imperial) and the screws would not sit all the way flush or below. With these, both a 4-40 machine screw and a #4 wood screw sit below flush, although the wood screw was only a little bit below. The price per magnet was a little cheaper than my usual source as well. It would be nice if they offered both north and south pole countersunk magnets so you could face them towards each other for additional holding power where needed.
Super tough holding power. Very small magnets are easy to attach to your project and they hold very well. Packaged very well and packaged so they are easy to remove them one at a time as well. Well made and a great add to the project.
