This 1" x 0.25" N48 neodymium disc magnet is designed for applications that require a reliable magnetic connection and a durable protective finish. Its compact disc shape makes it easy to incorporate into fixtures, assemblies, mounting systems, and custom projects where consistent performance matters. Made from neodymium, iron, and boron, this rare earth magnet uses N48 grade material to provide stronger magnetic performance than N45, N42, N40, N38, and N35 grades. The magnet is magnetized through the thickness, placing the magnetic poles on the two flat surfaces for a direct and stable connection.

To help protect the magnet in demanding environments, it features an Epoxy-Copper-Nickel triple-layer coating. This coating combines the protective benefits of epoxy with the strength of copper and nickel layers, providing improved durability, adhesion, and resistance to corrosion compared with a basic epoxy-only coating. The layered coating design helps reduce the risk of cracking, chipping, and surface damage during handling and use. The epoxy outer layer also provides a strong bonding surface when the magnet needs to be attached to metal components, while the copper and nickel layers help protect the magnet material underneath.
