I have a magnetic door on my mailbox. The magnet was not very powerful so the door would open quite easily. After research, I found these to be the perfect fit. Since installation, no issues.

I purchased the 22 piece, 12x4mm with 4mm countersunk holes, set of magnets for $7.99. Overall, I was very happy with the magnets. Having the hole and countersink was vital for my application. I was especially pleased to find that half of the magnets were polarized opposite of the others with respect to the countersink. That allows you to pair them up so you can screw a magnet to one surface and screw another to the another surface, and have them attract rather than repel. I had not thought of that when I purchased them. There were no noticeable polarity markings, so you have to pay attention to the polarity and pair them up yourself.Note: They came in a plastic case that allowed them some space to move around during shipping. One of the magnets either was broken when received or broke easily during my initial unpackaging. The other magnets seem fine.

Works extreamly great. Went too hard in one with a drill and broke it in three pieces. Drill probably not recommended nor really required.
